  • Sourced from the beautiful Clare Valley in the north of South Australia, JE 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon was fermented on skins for 6 days, aged in combination of old French and American oak. This wine shows purple colour with deep solid core, good varietal characte「s of vanilla and currants which can be enjoyed with all types of sizzling and spicy dishes. This wine is drinking well now however careful cellaring will be rewarded.

    This wine is pale lemon in colour and displays aromas of stone fruits, green apple and pear.   • This Shiraz Cabernet was born from a shared passion in the wines and vineyards of South Australia. The ancient soils and moderate climate create rich and full-bodied wines that are incredibly satisfying. This new released wine delivers a lifted and aromatic nose displays bright red-berried fruit, plums and sweet spice with a hint of savoury oak. The palate is generous and expansive with ripe dark berry and cassis flavours framed by soft tannins.

    Crystal clear with pale green hues in appearance this Moscato is crisp and fresh bursting with grapey flavours. The palate is light-bodied and fruit-driven with excellent acid balance and the natural sweetness gives the palate a round, luscious texture. The finish is soft and slightly spritzy. This light and delightfully sweet aromatic wine is made to drink chilled while young and fresh.

    This Moscato is a lovely bright pink colour in appearance. Enticing aromas of freshly squeezed grapes with strawberry and rose flowers jump from the glass.  It exhibits a sweet, delicate and soft palate with clean acidity and a light frizzante which tickles the palate. Fragrant and refreshing with a low-alcohol, it’s great to be enjoyed as a table wine or for a party suiting different occasion

    Picked in the coolness of the early morning this wine displays a dense purple red colour in appearance with vanilla and red berry fruit aromas. Ripe plum and raspberry flavours with sweet oaky notes are evident on the palate. Matured in a combination of old and new American barrels for 12 months this robust wine is well-balanced with smooth tannins and can be enjoyed now or rewarded with cellaring for 6 to 8 years.

    This wine has aromas of cherry fruit, warm spices and some freshening floral notes. The palate shows fresh cherry and blackberry fruit characters that develop complexity as they layer upon woody herb characters. These are supported by a fine line of tannin with a lingering finish.

    This wine has aromas of dark and brooding brambly fruit nose mixed with toasted spice and hints of liquorice and cocoa. The palate is rich and dense with blackberry fruit, layered with earthy savoury spice, slight tarriness and liquorice and has a good depth of flavour.

  • Wine Making

    Fruit was harvested in the first week of March, was destemmed and fermented on skins for a period of 8 days with gentle pumpovers twice a day to extract colour, flavour and tannin from the skins- was left on skins until sugar dry.  The fruit was pressed to stainless steel tank and allowed to settle, was racked off most of the yeast lees to barrel to complete malolactic ferment and then matured for a period of 18 months in a mix of 90% French, 10% American oak Hogsheads, with 20% of this as new oak.Barrel selection and blending took place prior to bottling to create a balanced wine that showcases the sub region.

    This wine exhibits beautiful dark cherries, plum, floral and spice aromas with a hint of dark chocolate on the nose. A beautifully balanced Shiraz with wonderful red and black fruit flavours combined with spice, dark chocolate and a hint of coffee. Medium to full bodied together with fresh acidity provides an excellent structure. This wine is drinking lovely now but will also be rewarded cellaring for another 6-8 years.

    The wine is a blend of 60% Chardonnay and 40% Pinot Noir.  It has wonderful toasty brioche aromas enhanced by green fruits and zesty citrus. The palate has a harmonious balance of orange blossom, biscotti and green apple that complement the slaty, driving minerality balanced perfectly with an elegant creamy finish

    In 2017 our Jarressa Estate Pinnacle was sourced from Shiraz fruit grown in our Barossa vineyard. This wine displays intense aromas of blackcurrant, gooseberry and hint of smoky oak. The palate is filled with ripe berry fruits and coffee beans accompanied by firm tannins and lingering oak.

    The tannins in fruit and oak are tight and long. The rich fruit is balanced by elegant natural acidity. The wine is full-bodied. The four varieties in this blend are classic combinations of Bordeaux. As harmonious and beautiful as a quartet, it was named Quartet, the meaning of musical quartet.36% Cabernet Sauvignon gives the wine a skeleton, tannins and a rich color, filling it with a sense of strength,28% of Cabernet Franc brings a rich aroma of spices, herbs and soil, making the wine more complex, Merlot and Petit Verdot brings soft and wonderful taste and fruity taste.
