Fresh aromas of fruit, spices, black fruits such as black pepper, black olives and bacon, as well as vanilla and dark chocolate.
Full-bodied, medium tannins, structured, earthy, oak with vanilla and chocolate aromas. The entrance is smooth and the aftertaste is long.
This is a traditional GSM blend from the McLaren region of South Australia. Grenache provides soft, spiced berry flavours and a round mouth feel. Shiraz brings out a wild side to the blend with Aromas of smoked meat, black pepper and olive, bolstered by a muscular structure. Mourvedre adds earth tones and gamy flavours with high amounts of colour and tannin.
Aged 15 months in old oak barrels.
