Ripe plums, cherries and soil, with a hint of vanilla and lilac.
Fruit is particularly strong, with notes of vanilla and dark chocolate.
Grenache provides soft, spiced berry flavours and a round mouth feel. Shiraz brings out a wild side to the blend with Aromas of smoked meat, black pepper and olive, bolstered by a muscular structure. Mourvedre adds earth tones and gamy flavours with high amounts of colour and tannin. This wine is typically more fruit forward with plenty of vanilla and dark chocolate tones imparted by barrel aging.
Aged 18 months in 1-2 year old oak barrels.
